Elizabeth Gillies is an American actor, singer and songwriter. She is known as Lucy from the Nickelodeon sitcom Victorious and Jade West for the musical 13. She began her career with commercials. In 2007 she first appeared on TV with The Black Donnellys. In the Nickelodeon television series Victorious in which she played Jade West between 2010 and 2013. She was a lead character on FX's comedy Sex & Drugs & Rock & Roll. Elizabeth Egan Gillies is a New Jersey native, born on the 26th of July in 1993. Her family lives in Haworth. In 2010, she was nominated to the Critics Choice Movie Awards for most promising young actor for her role in Sofia Coppola's Somewhere. In 2011, she received recognition for her part as the lead in the science-fiction thriller Super 8, which won the Spotlight Award in the Hollywood film festival. She played the title role in We Bought a Zoo, Ginger & Rosa and Maleficent.
