MANUEL-TURIZO

Manuel Turizo (full name Manuel Turizo Zapata) is an urbano and reggaeton singer songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Colombia whose trademark is his smooth buttery tenor singing voice. His music has seen major international breakthroughs into the Latin popular music scene. In 2017 the hit song from 2016 Una Lady Como Tu won the Colombian Kids Choice Award Favorite Song. His debut album ADN was issued through La Industria Inc., an Medellin-based Sony distribution company. This album peaked at eight on the Top Latin Albums charts. The following year he was a part of Ozuna for his Top Five smash Vaina Loca. Mala Influencia is his collaboration with Noriel in the year 2020. The following calendar year Dopamina was his follow-up album. In 2021, he was as a duo TINI for her viral stream single Maldita Foto. The singer appeared with him in 2023 for 2000, which included the huge hit La Bachata. Turizo was brought up in a musical environment, as both his mother & younger brother are musicians. According to Turizo, music was an integral element of his existence. He learned how to play the guitar, saxophone Ukulele, and piano while when he was a child. His initial choice of career was to be a vet However, his brother Julian persuaded him to learn how to sing under an instructor from a Cuban instructor. It was the result that he realized his talents for singing, and the result transformed his career path.
